Batoul Alattas

Batoul Alattas received a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2021 from King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Currently, she is pursuing an M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of New Orleans (UNO), and she is working as a research assistant in Power and Energy Research Laboratory (PERL). Batoul is interested in machine learning, renewable and clean energy, power system protection, robotics, and automation.

Hai Huynh

Hai Huynh received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in Computer Engineering Concentration in 2021 from University of New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana. Currently, he is pursuing an M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of New Orleans, and he is working as a research assistant in Power and Energy Research Laboratory (PERL). His interests involve power system protection, grid-connected solar farms, and relay testing.

Soheil Yousefnejad

Soheil Yousefnejad received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran, in 2015 and an M.Sc. degree from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran, in 2018 both in electrical power engineering. He is currently a Ph.D. student in electrical engineering at the University of New Orleans (UNO). He is also working as a research assistant in Power and Energy Research Laboratory (PERL) at UNO. His research interests are magnetic gears, electrical drives, and Lithium-ion battery.

alish khatiwada

Alish Khatiwada completed his B.S. (2019) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel, Nepal. Currently, he is pursuing his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Orleans, New Orleans, USA.  His research interest revolves around power system protection, grid-connected PV, inverters, and smart grids. Besides this, he has high enthusiasm for aircraft, traveling, and culinary arts.
